Beirut Slump was Lydia Lunch's other band while she was in Teenage Jesus & The Jerks. The other members were underground film-maker Vivienne Dick, Jim Sclavunos, and siblings Liz and Bobby Swope. Their lyrics were taken from down-and-outs in New York. A 7" was released under the name Bobby Berkowitz, Bobby Swope's alter ego, before the band ran out of steam. (from rate your music)
